KERRY'S NOTES: ‘In my painting 'Eclipsed' I wanted to look at social alienation as we age in contemporary society. To be "eclipsed by life" is to be overshadowed, forgotten or having one's importance diminished. It is also the metaphorical "eclipse" where something/someone is lost to obscurity or decline.’
