KERRY'S NOTES: ‘The painting Migratory Workers is inspired in part by the news stories about migratory workers who died during COVID. The pandemic exposed the reality of people from South America who leave family, home & country to earn a living in North America. This multi-generational migration of farm workers is much like the monarch butterflies complex migration. Both sacrifice their lives to survive.’
